Hi
In Kruger, is there anything such as a caravan park or some place where you can park your car and sleep for the night? Thanks |

Camping and caravaning is permitted in the Kruger National park, the campsite is open to either tents or caravans. A maximum of 6 persons, one caravan with a side tent and one vehicle, or a maximum of 2 tents and 1 vehicle, or one autovilla, or 1 motorized caravan will be permitted per site.
Most campsites in the Kruger have sites equipped with power points. Visitors may use generators from 1 hour after sunrise to 1 hour before sunset only. A communal kitchen and ablution facilities are available in all Kruger camps sites. In the Kruger park a communal freezer is available for campers at Malelane, Balule and Maroela. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are not provided. Although ground sheets may be used in the rest camps, specific arrangements must be made at the reception office of those camps where lawns have been planted. In the Kruger National park camping is allowed in the following restcamps: Skukuza, Balule, Berg-en-Dal, Letaba, Sabie">Lower Sabie, Malelane, Maroela, Pretoriuskop, Punda Maria, Satara, Shingwedzi and Crocodile Bridge. |

Hi Paul
You must book the campsites well in advance. The park can get very busy during school holidays. |
