How Are Things Now On Garden Route?
Hi there,
Thinking of taking about 10 days in March to travel the Garden Route.
Would like to visit Franschoek for a start.
Would like to know how safe it is these days? How is the driving?
Thank you

Drive along the Garden Route
I have just finished taking my family along the Garden Route. The drive was awesome, we had no problems with safety what so ever. Franschoek is a great village to spend a day and a night, if you plan on wine tasting and eating at the very best restaurants South Africa has to offer.
Take the scenic R44 coastal road from Gordons bay past Pringle bay and onto Hermanus. Its worth staying a night, try the Marine hotel and eat at Bientangs Cave. The Garden Route has so much to offer, Knysna, Plettenburg bay, the Wilderness, Natures Valley, Cango caves and Addo Elephant park.
There are so many things to do along this route. I have done this trip many times and never not had a fabulous time.
