Is it necessary to enter in the Kruger Park with an own car
My name is Roberta ,I'm from Italy.
We are going to visit Kruger Park at the end of September.
I'd like to have some informations.
Is it necessary to enter in the Kruger Park with an own car or it is possible to book car-tours inside with guide? What is more convenient?
How long the distance from Kruger Park to Johannesburg? Is there any local transport from the Park to Johannesburg?
Or also in this case it's necessary to have an own car?
Can you tell me something about malaria-risk?
The last question..What is the name of the nearest airport to the Kruger?
Thank you very much in advance.I'm waiting for your answer as soon as you can.
Best regards
Roberta

Do you need a car in the Kruger park?
Hi Roberta
Its a lot cheaper to enter the park with your own car, or hire a car and drive around the park. Its NB to see see Kruger National park travelling times .
For distance see Kruger National park distances .
You can fly or drive to Hoedspruit,(the nearest airport) then hire your own car from the airport in Hoedspruit. Drive around the park.See hoedspruit.co.za.
There is a very low malaria risk but its NB to take Malaria tabs.
Enjoy your trip.
