My family are coming from the UK to visit me here in Cape Town in May. We are firstly flying to Jo'burg and then will be driving down to Cape Town. As they are here for 14 days, I would like to know of any places of interest which would be a good place to stop at (excluding PE and the garden route as we have been there). We also wanted to stop off in Kruger from perhaps a day or two.
Can anyone help, or does anyone know of any sites which have good listing of places to vist on our journey? Would you be able to help on this matter? Cheer Sara ![]() |

Hey Sara
Why don't you take your mother up to Victoria falls. The Zambezi is in flood and the river at its highest making this the perfect time to go view this wonder of the world. You also can take her for a day safari to Chobe which is only 75km away from Livingstone. I have been to both, its an absolutely wonderful experience. You can spend the first 4 days of her holiday up there. Then head down into the Kruger Park. Skukuza is a large camp with all you need. They have Trains, buses and plains going to Vic falls on a daily basis. You need a visa. Most people go to livingstone on the Zambian side these days. I stayed in the Royal livingstone Hotel which is on the river within walking distance of the falls. |
