Default Knysna Elephant park

My husband and I took a week long holiday through the Garden Route in January 2005. It was truly one of the most memorable holidays of my life. One of my most favourable memories is visiting the Knysna Elephant Park. The experience was incredibly emotional, so-much-so that at the end of my visit with the elephants I began to cry from sheer joy. We purchased a bucket of fresh fruit and vegetables so that we were able to feed these beautiful creatures. The size of the biggest male was almost unreal and I must admit a little bit unnerving. The elephants are very well mannered and constantly monitored by their minders just in case any of them become overly excited.
I will never forget this close encouter with this truly majestic animal and would reccomend this experience for all animal lovers!!!
