Default Kruger Park trims day trippers

Skukuza - Visitors to the Kruger National Park will face a quota system again on peak festive holidays.

The national park will be keeping strictly to admission quotas in the coming festive season. The rule applies only to day visitors, not to overnight ones.

The entry of visitors will be restricted on December 16, 17, 25, 26 and on January 1.

Avoiding crowding

The main entrance, Kruger Gate near Hazyview, will allow in only 750 people on those days.

At large gates like Malalane and Phalaborwa, up to 500 visitors will be allowed in, while smaller gates like Numbi, Crocodile Bridge and Orpen will let in 350 visitors each.
