Leonardo Di Caprio in Cape Town over weekend

The star was spotted at a club called Opium in Cape Town on Sat 11 Feb. He is in South Africa to shoot a movie called The Blood Diamond.

Most shooting will be taking place on the East Coast in Port Edward. This small town is already feeling the arrival of the Hollywood team. Business has boomed, from lodging to plumbing. Even the local church - which had experienced financial difficulties over the past few months - expects to reap benefit from their arrival. Many of the people in the town have also scored themselves roles as extras in this blockbuster.

Jennifer Connelly is confirmed to be in the movie and Danny Glover is also rumoured to be in Port Edward.

Edward Zwick is directing the movie - as well as being one its producers. For those who have not heard of him he also directed The Last Samurai and Legends of the Fall.
