Default "multicultural"

Hi everyone, I'm into all things "multicultural" and was wondering if anyone knows of any "folk festivals" or the like that will be happening anywhere in SA during Jan-Mar. Of course, the best would be to see something indigenous to SA, like some drumming or dance performance for example (I love drums!!) , but I would even go to a good ceilidh if I knew about it. I love Hungarian folk dancing, so if you know if that scene is happening there, please tell me! Otherwise, anything that involves folk heritage/music/dance would be awesome. Most of these kinds of events are usually quite small, and you only hear about it if you are part of that community, so I'm hoping to get some tips from you! Thanks

Default Multicultural

Hi, suggest that you do your searching on "Tribal Dance/ing" as that is the better known description over here. These dances practically all use drum music. Ask the info centres of the towns that you will be staying at.
