road closures

Does anyone have any information/opinions re road closures. I have objected to road closures that are being put up at both ends of my road and have been invited to a tribunal next thurs for my comments.

I would like to hear from anyone with any suggestions/comments both for and against the road closure idea in order to make an informed decision.

If you are in a road enclosure - has it been beneficial as far as crime goes or is this just another money making scam?
If you dont live in a road enclosure but you have road enclosures around you - has crime increased in your area?
