Should We Move To South Africa

Love to go to Cape Town- meant to go when pregnant with baby 1 but hubby made redundant so had to trade it in for a long weekend locally instead!

Joe was offered SA job today although not ideal re type of job- however we both got really excited and started sorting things out. So this morning we were definitely coming until one of Joe's colleagues told him her sister in law was murdered in Pretoria at Christmas when she went to investigate a noise in the kitchen in the middle of the day. She also said kids had to travel in armed convoys to school and strongly advised Joe against taking his family. Think she lived on the south side of Pretoria.

As you can imagine it brought us back to earth with a crash! Some serious thinking to be done. This website has been invaluable and will definitely be included in our thought process. I'll let you know what happens, Thanks again for all your help, DD
