I am planning a two week holiday to SA and Mozambique in late april. I intend to stay 3 days at Kruger Park. I would appreciate suggestions for a short stay as well as information relative to:
- are the camps situated within the park? - I intend to arrive by car, is it safe to drive within the park without a guide? - Should I book a safari in advance or should I leave it until I arrive; - Should I book accommodation that including activities like trails and safaris, or is it best to do it separately? |

Hi Sergio
Yes all the SANParks camps are in the Kruger Park. Its best to book well in advance because the park is very popular, see http://www.krugerpark-direct.com/sou...national-parks Book trails when you book accommodation see, http://www.krugerpark-direct.com/43t...derness-trails The park is awesome, you will enjoy yourself. If you're not able to find accommodation in the park then try getting accommodation in Timbavati. It's borders the Kruger Park and there are no fences between the two. The lodges have their own trackers and you are basically guaranteed to encounter the Big 5 (including cheetah). I suggest Umlani Bush Lodge for your stay.
