Tik (meth) & Sexual Molestation

We have a situation at home and I really need some answers. My 16 yr niece is accusing her uncle of sexually molesting her but the thing is that none of her stories make any sense. I have since heard from numerous ppl that she is a drug user, tik (meth) in particular. She also smokes and drinks , She also has a 26yr old boyfriend which she is seeing for about 2 mnths and they are in a sexual relationship. She says that this molestation happened about 2 mnths back. The uncle his wife and baby are very close to my neice and her parents and are always together and my neice's attitude towards the uncle haven't changed one bit, in fact she is not acting as if she has been through a traumatic experience. She still phones the uncle to ask him to take her to school or to tell him that she misses him if she hadn't spoken to him for a couple of days. She has not withdrawn from him at all.

My question is: will this drug affect her so badly that she would lie about being sexually molested ?

Yes, it possible that she is lying. You just need to find out what she intends to gain from lying. If she has nothing to gain investigate the matter further. The addict will do anything for DRUGS, she might of offered sex to your uncle for money to buy TIK. Later she felt remorse and said he molested her.

I think its important take every thing the addict says with a pinch of salt as deceit and lies are central to the acdicts persona. Try get her into a rehab program as soon as you can.

It was discovered that she is definitely on "tik"
There was a family meeting on Wednesday night and you could see that she was lying. The motive for her lies are not clear and it seems to either go around the fact that the uncle started to refuse borrowing money to her or that on that fateful night after everybody went to bed the uncle was sleeping in the lounge actaully he was passed out after a hectic party at the house and she was also in the lounge because she was going to sleep there. she then decided to take the chance to smoke her drug in his presense with the fear that he would catch her. She then proceeded to have a very bad trip which involved her believing in her head that he had sexually molested her !!!! She is still not admitting to it but when that scenario was mentioned you could see on her face that it struck a cord with her.
This thing has completely broken the bonds of family and I don't know how it will be mended again. I can't believe how dangerous this drug actually is ...
