Unregistered Users

Maybe you must consider not allowing unregistered users to make a post and also not to open a thread

Hey Subzero,

My thinking was that I didn't want to put users through any sort of process before they could post - in the forum's earlier days anyway. Ironically, all spam is from registered users. If spammers ever catch onto the fact that you do not need to register to post it will be very smartly removed I assure you

Me again I know this will maybe hurt the amount of posts that you will get in the beggining, but couldn't you set a timeframe for users to be active before they could start posting.

Example: If I register now I will only be allowed to post on the forum in 30 mins time. This should put some of them off and the people that are really intrested will return

Can somebody help me, regarding road closures, every morning on my way to work a certain security company makes me sign in even though it is my way to work, they usually course a major traffic jam as a lot of people use this road, I have been told that a road closure is a controlled entrance and they are not allowed to make you sign in but then I have also been told they can! Surely it is a public road?
